Kaite is an experienced and enthusiastic dramaturg and teacher. She has been involved in many educational projects, working predominantly with young people and adults in over six countries.
She works extensively with writernet and was the dramaturg/tutor for disPlay4, developing four disabled playwrights – Danny Start, Angela McNab, Kerry Hood and Jamie Beddard over an eighteen-month period. The innovative project culminated in a showcase of the playwrights’ work at Soho Theatre in November 2002, in association with Graeae Theatre Company.

Kaite is working with North West Disability Arts Forum (NWDAF) on Off the Page, an on-going project developing performance writers living in the North West. Partners and collaborators have included BBC Radio Manchester, Unity Theatre, the Everyman Theatre and the Inter:View project with Liverpool's Biennial Live Art Festival (2008) For further information, go to www.nwdaf.co.uk
She has been writer-in-residence at Essex University and UCE, AHRC Creative Fellow and Honorary Fellow at Exeter University. She has taught dramaturgy and writing for performance to postgraduate level at Exeter University's drama department, Glamorgan University, Essex University and the Korean National University of the Arts, amongst others.
She has been mentor/dramaturg for emerging performance writers at Contact Manchester, Hall for Cornwall, Birmingham Rep Theatre, Aberystwyth Arts Centre (Travelling Light Festival) and Script, Birmingham. She collaborates with North West Playwrights, amongst other partners including the Indian Institute of Cerebral Palsy in Kolkata, India.
